Short programs

INSA Lyon’s short programs offer international students the possibility of a short stay on its campus, located in Lyon – a vibrant and culturally rich city, one of Europe’s most attractive destinations, the capital of French gastronomy, and where tradition meets innovation.

Through these short programs, students gain experience in innovative scientific domains, develop social science skills and learn French language while immersed in a multicultural environment.

Those programs are specifically shaped for science & engineering undergraduate and graduate students but is also open to students in other specialties looking for transdisciplinarity. All courses are taught in English, except for French lessons. At the end of the program, participants receive a certificate as proof of their participation.

The programs fees include: the tuition fees, shared accommodation on campus or in a host family, meal plan (from Monday to Friday) and all social and cultural activities that are part of the program. We manage all aspects, allowing students to make the most of their stay.

SMART Lyon

SMART Lyon is a 2-week program (30 hrs. / 2 ECTS or 1 US credits) in March focused on smart cities, the Internet of Things and spatial data analysis.

INNOV@INSA

INNOV@INSA is a 4-week program (90 hrs. / 12 ECTS or 6 US credits) in May/June about perspectives in Management and Innovation as well as Connected and Smart Devices.

Human’INSA

Human’INSA is a 3-week program (65 hrs. / 6 ECTS or 3 US credits) in June-July about new technologies in the field of Humanitarian Engineering or Artificial Intelligence.
